The farm "La Jurada" is located 4 km from the town of Las Cabezas de San Juan, in the province of Seville, in the region of Andalusia. The farm has an extension of 368 ha, with plots of cereal crops (barley, wheat, oat and triticale), cotton and sunflower.

The soil in the farm is predominantly clay, with 1.8% of an average organic matter content in the first 20 cm of the soil. The slopes are low, with an average value of 1%.

Nowadays, the most relevant Best Management Practices on the farm are those related to groundcovers and the minimum alteration of the soil, thanks to the implementation of no-tillage in the cereal crops, which are more than 15 years old.
