• The implementation, on a pilot scale, of a management system which will combine Best Management Practices that mitigate climate change and favour the adaptation of crops to the effect thereof. The use of two demonstration scenarios has been considered for this purpose, one to verify the mitigating and adaptation capacity of the system in the current climate conditions (demonstration farm) and another to verify said capacities in future climate conditions (demonstration tests in a greenhouse).
  • The establishing of a European Network of Demonstration Farms in which the Best Management Practices implemented on a pilot scale will be put into practice on a global scale.
  • The development of a GIS showing information on the European Network of Demonstration Farms in relation to the agricultural practices implemented, progress in the mitigation of and adaptation to climate change set out therein, applicable European regulations, etc.
  • Monitoring of each campaign, both on a pilot scale and on a global scale, in relation to the mitigating effects of the Best Management Practices employed, in addition to the capacity of the crops for which these practices have been implemented to adapt to climate change.
  • The conducting of a study on the social and economic impact in the operating area as a result of the actions of the project.
  • The offering of classroom-based courses, online courses and field days aimed at various agents of the agricultural industry.
  • Dissemination and communication activities (participation in various technical and scientific forums, the issuing of publications and the production of multimedia material).
  • The holding of a European workshop to show the results obtained over the course of the project and the conclusions reached at the end thereof.
