DESCRIPTION

The farm "Bartzialis" is located 33 km from the town of Volos, in the Thessaly region. It has an extension of 29 ha, with plots of cotton, wheat and alfalfa crops.

The slopes on the farm are 1%. The soil is clay loam and has a relatively low average organic matter content, around 1.3%.

The Best Management Practices of greater implantation in the farm are those which include the optimization and adequate use of agrochemicals, as well as those related to the use of irrigation doses adjusted to the needs of the crop. Rotations of corn and cotton are carried out in the plots where alfalfa is not planted.
